How to pair a second device with 2FA

Given the importance of 2FA on the Knowledge Hub, you may wish to use an additional device as a backup.

If you wish to pair a second device with 2FA on your account, log in to your Knowledge Hub account (using your main device).

Select your name at the top of the page, which will then show you a drop-down menu.

Select the ‘Settings’ link (or you can select the ‘Settings’ tab if you are already within your profile).

 

 

Select the drop-down arrow in the blue box and select ‘Two-factor authentication’.

Scan the existing barcode or enter the existing secret key manually into the authenticator app on your second device.

If you wish to use a different secret key, you can generate a new one (please refer to ‘How to regenerate secret key’ for this process), however, you will need to repeat the same steps for all devices that you intend to use for 2FA.
